Recognised Prior Learning (RPL)
Already studied or worked in your chosen field? You might be eligible for advanced standing towards your Holmes Institute course through Recognised Prior Learning (RPL).
What is RPL or Credit Transfer?
RPL is a formal process that assesses your previous study or professional experience to see if it matches the learning outcomes of units in your proposed course os study. If approved, you won’t need to repeat what you already know, saving you time and tuition fees.
How It Works
To apply for RPL, you’ll need to submit documentation showing your relevant experience or previous study. This is then reviewed by our academic team to determine if it aligns with your course requirements.
What you will need
To support your application, you will need to submit:
- A copy of your official academic transcript
- Unit or subject outlines (such as handbooks or syllabi) from your previous institution
- Any other evidence that demonstrates relevant learning or work experience
