Profile

Joy brings 21 years of finance and accounting industry experience into higher education.  Working for two international investment banks, has taken her from Manila to Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney. Using Operations and Asset Management as the springboard for her career, she has held various roles across Risk and Compliance, Product Control for FX and Financial Control for Equities and Corporate Finance. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and practical experience towards building the future of accounting and finance.

Joy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (with Honors) from the Ateneo de Manila University after which she was invited to be a visiting fellow in the Business School of the National University of Singapore in 1995.  She obtained her Masters of Business Administration (with Honors) from the University of the Philippines in 2002. She obtained her professional designation from CPA Australia in 2018.
